Be real.
Be courageous.
Live alive.
Today's image of dogs reflects our artificial and alienated society in many ways. There are many theories on how to interact with dogs. From positive reinforcement to needs based approaches and a variety of other methods. These concepts come from the dog industry and are usually based on a desire for control or to satisfy our own emotions.
I believe it is these very concepts that create the problems. Rather than promoting genuine togetherness, authenticity and honest communication, they contribute to pushing both human and dog into a pattern of dependency and alienation.
What is missing is liveliness, just being - as a human, as a dog. This is what my work is all about: getting back to liveliness.
Liveliness is where people and dogs are free in themselves, where there is room for life in all its facets. Sometimes it can be beautiful, sometimes challenging, sometimes loud or quiet, sometimes powerful or tender.
There can be mistakes, anger, joy, pain, disappointment and helplessness - everything that life is.
Instead of protecting ourselves from these facets with theories, we need to find the courage to accept and embrace them. To really show, communicate and express ourselves - in all the imperfection that makes us human.
Dogs set an example of personal responsibility. They tell when something is out of balance and show us the importance of acting independently. They have a keen sense of how much we value ourselves, whether we stand up for ourselves or suppress something. They perceive us accordingly and shape their interactions with us.

Another essential element that I think is missing and that makes life really lively is social communication. This seems to be increasingly lost in today's society.
What brings us alive is the expression of what moves us. What we think, what we feel - unvarnished and free.
The courage to be authentic. Because real communication connects, strengthens and enlivens relationships.
Life begins where we stop trying to mould it into fixed shapes and instead simply be human (and dog).
Live personal responsibility - strengthen communication, be authentic
We will look, we will feel and we will talk about what might have been pushed away and where you are holding yourself back.
My work with you is about supporting you to take an honest look at the causes of your inner conflicts to find out what is blocking you.
Once you know where you stand, you can start to make a change.

Your body is also an important part of the process.
The body shows us what fits and what doesn't. It reflects our patterns of thought and behaviour and carries the story of our lives. Connecting with and being aware of your body is important because change happens through experiences that you feel and that move you deeply.
Through our work together you will understand yourself better, find the courage to show yourself, express what you really think and through that feel freer.
